Oliver Tree: Cowboy Tears Tour ✯

Oliver Tree returns to Boston for a sold out show at the House of Blues on the Cowboy Tears Tour. Just 4 years ago Oliver Tree was playing at the same venue as an opener, now he is the headliner to a sold out show. His rapid rise to fame and success over the past couple years has been well earned. His loyal fan base were decked out in cowboy attire with hand-made posters filling the entire pit. Oliver Tree and the crowd have an equal energy exchange as they feed off each other’s engagement with one another.
His latest album Cowboy Tears has taken another experimental approach into his aesthetic. Tree ditches his old iconic scooter and perfectly round bowl cut this tour, with a new mullet wig, mechanical cow, and oversized guitar as stage props. His setlist included my favorite oldie “Forget It” (2016) as well as newer tracks that haven’t been heard live yet due to being released in the pandemic like, “1993” (Ft. Little Ricky ZR3) and “I’m Gone” off of Ugly is Beautiful (2020). And of course the crowd went ballistic over the iconic TikTok hit trending song “Life Goes On”. His over the top performance and production keeps you intrigued for each upcoming bit, like ripping apart and chewing a picture of the one and only H3 podcast’s Ethan Klein.
Oliver Tree’s rise to stardom is well deserved he has the IT factor, with elements and talents that enwrap each listener making them want to dive his discography further upon discovering him.
