City and Colour at the Boston Orpheum Theatre

Dallas Green singer-songwriter of City and Colour makes a stop in Boston, MA for his 2021 solo fall/winter tour. Making for the perfect illuminated, hazy autumn night. This was an extra special performance for all who attended, being Green’s first show back in Boston since the global pandemic put the world on pause. Stepping back into the live music scene after what feels like forever can be extremely challenging but Dallas handled it with extreme grace and precision. It was nice to take a step back from the chaos of the loud outside world and enjoy a silent serene intimate solo performance, making you really appreciate the small details of each song. Dallas made sure to incorporate a balanced setlist featuring favorites like, “Body in a Box” off Bring Me Your Love (2007), “Northern Wind” off Little Hell (2011), “Hello I’m in Delaware” off Sometimes (2005), and “Lover Come Back”off If I Should Go Before You (2015). The crowd was captivated by Dallas Green’s soothing melodies and heartfelt lyrics, this was truly one of the most enjoyable and respectful audiences to be apart of. Catch City And Colour on his solo tour continuing now throughout mid December.
