Last Dinosaurs & Bad Suns: Apocalypse Whenever Tour

Last Dinosaurs join Bad Suns on the 2022 North American Apocalypse Whenever Tour. The Australian indie rock band took the stage first to set the tone of the electric Friday night. Fans eagerly began packing into the venue and lining up across the barricade. To kick off the set list the band consisting of Sean Caskey (lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist), Lachlan Caskey (lead guitarist), Michael Sloane (bass guitarist) and Dan Koyama (drummer) started the show with the upbeat song “Apollo” off the hit 2015 album Wellness that instantly got the crowd dancing and jumping. The band also included the latest hit track from their newest EP “Put Up With The Weather!”. While also not forgetting to add older fan favorites such as, “Italo Disco” and “Sense” off the 2018 iconic album, “Yumeno Garden”. The Australian boy band had the crowd engaged from the start to the finish of their set with phenomenal sound and light production.
Bad Suns came on shortly after to headline another stunning tour, the band consisting of Christo Bowman (lead vocals & guitar), Miles Morris (drums) and Gavin Bennett (bass) have not been in the city of Boston since 2019 so fans were eager with excitement for their return. The latest album Apocalypse Whenever (2022) has received high praise with hit songs like “Heaven Is A Place In My Head” and “Peachy” to showcase the start of the set list. The band also included older songs hitting home for the older fans making a nostalgic throwback with songs off the albums, Language and Perspective (2014) as well as Disappear Here (2016). There are so many elements to Bad Suns live performance that prove their undeniable talent, frontman Christo Bowman steals the show by countless stage dives and being held up by the hands of diehard fans. Closing the show the band played the throwback hit song “Heartbreaker” with stunning red strobe lights lighting up the faces of the people in the crowd reflecting throughout the room.
