The Band of Brothers

American Authors and Magic Giant. Both of these artists deserve to be in your top 10 artists you need to listen to. You can tell both artists were on stage doing what they love with the people they feel like they have the most in common with musically and personally. The stage presence of the whole show felt more like a party than a concert. Each band would play part of their set and then do a song together and switch bands for a couple sets.
Magic Giant has been on tour with several other artists that I’m quite fond of, such as Vance Joy and Foster the People. I heard about them, but never quite had in my music rotation until they put out their newest single, “Disaster Party” (out everywhere now). Even though the tour is almost over to check them out, they will be on GMA on ABC Friday March 6th preforming it! Don’t miss your chance of checking out your new favorite band.
American Authors was a band I was rather excited to finally see live. They have super high energy and know how to pull in a crowd. Zac Barnett, lead singer, got into the crowd to have a personal moment with a lot of people and interacted with anyone that walked up to him. My favorite moment was probably when he interacted with a little girl on side stage, that usually melts my heart in that moment. But, their music was meant to hear as a live performance. You get a whole different feel for their music when you hear it live instead of the sporadic radio play of “Believer” or “The Best Day of My Life,” it’s music that speaks to you and that you can connect with. You can hear their new single “Microphone”, that they released before The Band of Brothers tour, out everywhere now.
