Mat Kearney

The second Mat walked on to the stage the whole crowd was captivated. He interacted and held conversation between songs with the crowd. He didn’t stick to just the City of Black and White like expected. He truly listened to what the crowd wanted to hear and played songs that he hasn’t played live in years. Mat broke down even exactly how he was feeling 10 years ago when he wrote the songs. It made people, including myself, relate to the song and feel more emotionally attached. It brought songs back to life 10 years later. If you can still catch one of his shows on the rest of the tour I highly recommend it.
