Summerfest - Arum Rae
Savvage's own Mary Welch had the chance to hit up Summerfest, the BIGGEST music festival in the world, featuring over 800 acts. Stay tuned throughout the week to see some of her faves!
Sometimes when it's just a girl and her guitar, it's not always easy to stand out, but the beautiful Arum Rae has a voice that you cannot ignore. During her Summerfest set, she played a song "If I Didn't Know Better," which was co-written with John Paul of The Civil Wars. Arum Rae has also had her song "What Good Is A Heart" featured The Vampire Diaries, and "Waving Wild" on Pretty Little Liars, both being two of my favourite TV shows. Her unplugged album called Sub Rosa is available and I recommend giving her a listen.
