The legendary Northern Ireland indie-rock trio Two Door Cinema Club joined by Flipturn bring their electric US & Canada 2024 Tour back to Boston, MA at the Leader Bank Pavilion. The summer night concert by the ocean created an enchanting experience, with live music performed outdoors by the water's edge. Attendees were mesmerized by the captivating performances framed by the peaceful setting of a sunset evening, making for a memorable July experience.
The Floridian band Flipturn kicks off the show with their energetic and engaging performance, setting the tone for an exciting night. The band currently consists of Dillon Basse (Lead Singer), Tristan Duncan (Lead Guitarist), Madeline Jarman (Bassist), Mitch Fountain (Guitarist & Synthesizer), and Devon VonBalson (Drummer). The setlist included their countless hit songs with catchy hooks, such as, “August”, “Whales”, and “Sad Disco”. The well established band garners over 1.6M monthly Spotify listeners appealing to all fans of modern indie and alternative music.

When Two Door Cinema Club took the stage next, the crowd erupted with excitement and anticipation for the exhilarating performance filled with their signature upbeat indie rock sound. The group consists of Alex Trimble (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Sam Halliday (Guitar, Vocals), and Kevin Baird (Bass, Vocals). They gained prominence with their debut album, Tourist History (2010), which featured hit singles like "What You Know" "Something Good Can Work." and “Undercover Martyn” which can all be found incorporated on their setlist of the night. Since then the group have released several successful albums, including Beacon (2012), Gameshow (2016), False Alarm (2019) and Keep On Smiling (2022). Their latest single “Happy Customers” released in March of this year delivers a refreshed sound with a nostalgic feel, blending modern indie rock with echoes of their earlier work.
