Otherwise

By: Jennifer Pinckney

Tiger Blood Round 3. Can you believe it? Concerts are back again, and I will not stay at home! It was a Sunday night in Denver, Colorado and I went to a venue called The Oriental Theater. I have just recently moved to Denver, and I am loving all the live music venues around me.

Tonight was especially exciting for me because Otherwise is one of my favorite bands. 4 guys from Vegas, who know how to throw down and give their fans their all. The doors opened at 7pm and show started right at 8pm. First band to take the stage was The Endless Line. They are a local band from Colorado Springs and wow! Definitely sounded like punk/metal tunes and was very hard to get good pictures of them because of all the movement! Definitely won’t be the last time I see these guys. Check out their Facebook/Spotify & Instagram.

Next was a band called Heartsick Heroine. I was told this girl had good vocals on her, and my source did not lie. Holy hell! She had this loud, powerful voice along with intense and spot on screams as if she were trying to take her sound all the way to the end of the world. These guys were VERY impressive. And they too are from Denver, Colorado. Highly, highly, highly recommend you to check them out now.

Once the lights dimmed and we knew it was time for Otherwise to take the stage, the rest of the people came to join us on the ground floor. Everyone seemed to know all of the lyrics Adrian was speaking to us, so we all sang along. Even when it was an a Capella moment for just the audience to sing, our group of about a hundred, people filled the venue.

The guys looked so great being back on stage again. It was obvious with all the smiles that they missed live shows just as much as we have.  Otherwise is touring all over the US currently, so please check out their Facebook, Instagram and website to find when they are coming to you! You don’t want to miss this show! Go get your ticket and get back out there while we have LIVE MUSIC BACK AT OUR FEET. Support the artists you love.
