Misery Tour

Misery Will Find You
January 15, 2019 . The Masquerade . Atlanta, GA
It was just another Tuesday night, but on this specific night, in downtown Atlanta, GA, the streets were awoken by The Amity Affliction, Senses Fail and Silent Planet! All the punk rock, metal heads of Atlanta came out to the Masquerade for one hell of a night! Doors opened at 7pm, and the crowd rushed in to claim their places! It was a packed house tonight! These rockers were ready shake the place up!
Silent Planet was the first to take the stage. They did not disappoint at all! It was honestly a little hard to photograph them because they were moving all over the place! But of course that makes for a great show too, when we can see the artists clearly having the time of their lives. The front man, Garrett Russell, even made his way to the crowd for a little crowd surfing and had some of their fans scream the lyrics. Amazing set, especially for the first act of the night.
Senses Fail wasted no time in running onto the stage and jumping around like they were acrobats! Next time I see them I will definitely be more prepared for all of those jump shots they did! Or when the front man, was swinging the microphone into the audience and catching it when he threw up way up in the air! They played their hit “Elevator to the Gallows” (which is dedicated to Demi Lovato), “Can’t be Saved”, “Shark Attack,” plus many more.. you will have to check out their page and see if they are coming to a city near you! But I promise you... they do not disappoint!

Last but most definitely not least was our headliners, the boys from Australia, The Amity Affliction! They came out and brought their game. There was much needed moshing and crown surfing during their set. Front man, Joel Birch was on point with his screams! They played a good range of older, mid and newer songs from their albums. They did mastery “Misery,” so it’s good timing to make this tour bringing “misery” to most major cities across the United States.
The tour is going strong until early February and Bad Omens and Belmont will be joining them on tour. Check out their Facebook to see if they are coming to a city near you!
